MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL

Special Meeting. A special meeting of the Manukau County Council was held at the Council Oihces in Auckland on Tuesday last, the members present being Crs H. E. McKenzie (chairman), F. H. Brownhill, A. E. Hattaway, and A. Muir, with the clerk (Mr Alex. Bell). The special order, adopted last month, merging the Turanga Koad District into the Manukau County was confirmed, the order to take effect as from May 31st, A petition, as reported under our Manurewa heading, was received in regard to the merging of the Manurewa Koad District.

Complaints were received regarding the bad state of Weymouth road, (Manurewa), Massey road (Mangere), and Orere road, and it was decided to instruct the foreman to carry out necessary repairs.
