PAPAKURA.

At the meeting of householders held on Monday last reference was made to the insufficient accommodation provided for the increasing number of scholars and in order to cope with the work it was suggested that Messrs Wallace's hall should be secured as a temporary school. It was also decided that the Committee should make application to the Board for a modern school-house to be erected at an early date. As the result'of the election of School Committee the following were successful, Messrs S. Evans, L. J. Mills, G Hardy, J. Whitaker, .T. 11. Bites, W. Crichten, J. K Woodhouse, J. Mm ray and C. E Tuelly. Messrs Bates, Murray and Tuelly are new members. Messrs Evans and Hardy were re-appointed Chairman and Secretnrv respectively.
