(See also page 4 )

At the meeting of the Franklin County Council yesterday it was reported that a site off Beach Road—in the Council's district—had been offered the Papakura Town Board as a night-soil depot. As the District Medical Officer of Health would be visiting the locality next week a request on behalf of the Chairman of the Town Board was made that a representative of the Council should be appointed to meet the Health Officer when viewing the site in question. The Council resolved that the Chairman should represent the Council with power to act.
