BOWLING.
Pukekohe v. Papatoetoe. A three-rink match between the above-named Clubs was played yesterday (Wednesday) on the Pukekohe Club's green, the visitors being victorious by 58 points to 55 ana two rinks to one The following were the scores, the names of the Papatoctie players being mentioned first in each instance : Bryett, Western, Hall and Watson beat Bowden, Moreland, Coady and Perkins 19-16. Chapman, Cutfoith, Bryant and Daisley lost to W. Adams, Gribble, Lawrie and Barter, 18—25. Trimble, Leonard, Gladding and Beid beat Duncan, Robinson, D. Roulston and Butler, 21—18. Members of the Pukekohe Bowling Club are requested to note that a tournament will be in progress on Easter Saturday and Monday the Committee in charge of the same being Messrs Penny, Daysh and W. Blake. Flay will start each day at 9 p.m. The green will be open tomorrow (Good Friday) and several Aucklrnd players are expected to be present to join in the games.
