PAPAKURA.
It is satisfactory to learn that the Christinas parcels sent to " the boys " at the Front have been safely received. Among those who have acknowledged the gifts are Ptes. T. Lowe, R. Whitley, A. Walker, M. Jones, E. Dun, L McKinstry, —. Alexander, R. Slack, and A. Watson. These parcels were forwarded by the local Patriotic Committee through a London tirm and were all delivered to the troops in the trenches between Christmas time and the New Year. It is hardly necessary to add that all the recipients expressed warm appreciation of the presents received.
Mr Carpenter Arthur announces in our advertising columns a sale of household furniture and effects to be carried out at the residenco of Mr George Klinic, Rouselle on Wednesday next at 1.30 p.m.
