A most interesting match was played on the local green on Wednesday last for the championship singles between Mr S. McCulloch and Mr H. P. Andrew and after an exciting finish Mr McCulloch won by 2 points. The scores are H. P. Andrew 15, S. McCulloch 11. A fiiendly match was played on Thursday between Remuera and Papatoetoe. The scores were: Remuera: Healey, Davis, Rev Beatty, McCallum 26. Papatoetoe : Knight, Coles, Hall, Watson 13.
