WAR CASUALTIES.
Pte C. F. Cave, eon of Mrs Cave, of Pukekohe, is reported as having been wounded in action on Feb 21st. Pte. Cave, prior to proceeding to France, served as a member of the Expeditionery force in Samoa. Pte Fredk. Win. Kemp, son of Mr A. Kemp, of Paparata, is " missing believed wounded." In a list of "Reported Missing" appear the names of Sergt. Geo. Leo McCabe, son of Mrs J. McCabs, of Rama Rama; Pte E. A. McDonald, of Waipipi; and Pte. L. F. Smith, of Manurewa. Pte. Alfred C. C. Clark, of Ivaraka, is "reported wounded " as also Pte. Andrew N. Geraghty, of Onewhero. News was received in Pukekohe yesterday by Mrs A. F. Brown that her brother, Corpl.Adam Madill, has been " missing " since February '2lst. Better known as the Rev. A. Madill prior to joining the colours he was the Presbyterian Minister at Taneatua. He enlisted in the ranks. He was born in Pukekohe, being the son of the late Mr Wm. H. Madill.
