TUHIMATA.
A very pleasant evenine was spent at "the barn" on Friday, February 9tb, wrfen the Rev. J. B. Suckling and many friends journeyed over from Fukeuohe and entertained a large audience. "The barn" was well filled, and the proceeds, amounting to £5 ss, will be devoted to the Methodist Circuit Fund. The following programme was most creditably rendered, viz. : Recitals "The Wreck of the Nancy Bell" and "The Water Mill," Rev. Suckling; solo, Mrs Filkmgton; recital*, "Dora" pnd "The Legend Beautiful," Rev Suckling; hand bell selection, Mr Souster; recitah, "The Revenge," "The Veteran" and "Turn of tne Tide," Kev Suckling; solo, Mrs Pilkintgon; monologues, Rev Suckling; musical item, Mr Souster; recitals, "Essex Ballads" and "The Bishop's Caterpillar," Rev Suckling; band bell selection, Mr Souster; recitals, "Ins Mysterious Way" and "The Soul of the Violin," Rev Suckling; solo, Mrs Pilkington; recital, "Crossing the Bar," Rev. Suckling. Miss Winnie Webster accompanied on the piano,
