COUNTY COUNCILLOE WANTED!
VACANCY UNFILLED.
The somewhat unusual circumstance of no aspirant coming forward for County Council honours has to be recorded in regard to the representation of the Pukekawa riding on the Raglan County Council, which seat has been rendered vacant by the resignation of Mr 8. H. Eyre. No nominations were received up to last Friday, the scheduled date of filling the vacancy, and accordingly the Returning Officer (Mr H. Marsland), by advt. in this issue, announces a fresh election, viz., that nominations will be received up to next Friday at noon and polling (if any) to be held on Friday, the 16th inst
