The new building is situated ou the Oreat South Road, and is of seasoned matai, the entrance from the road having folding doors opening outward. There are a well arranged lobby and auti rooms, while the hall (70ft z 30ft) presents a pleasing appearance, being of varnished framed rimu and plaster which gives a healthful tone to the general surroundings. Two folding emergency fire escape doors on each side are provided, and the Elaster ceiling, with ventilating oles, are some evidence that the conveniences of the public have not been ovei looked.
