CLEVEDON.
On Thursday, 7th inst, tho Rev. W. C. Wood delivered a lecture in the Clevedon Public Hall to a large audience. Mr C. Munro occupied the chair, and during the proceedings Mr T. C. Seaton sang several solos. The subject of the lecture was " The Pre-war Period." The lecturer traced the development of pan Germanism during the present century, leading up to the present war. The proceeds of tho gathering were devoted to the All Soul's (Olevedon'j Church fund.
