WHANGARATA.
WEDDING BELLS.
On Wednesday, November 22nd, at St Paul's, Auckland, a quiet marriage was solemnised between Mr Arthur G. Potter, of " Siberia," the school committee has airanged for Otaua, second son of Mr G. Potter, of Ellerslie, and Miss Jessie Muriel Lawrence, eldest daughter of Mr H. T. Lawrence, of Whangarata, and granddaughter of the late Mr Joseph Lawrence, C.E , and of the late Mr Thomas Cunningham relative of Sir W. Cunningham. Misa Agnes Lawrence and Misa Keith a Potter, daughter of CaptHin Potter, cow in Trentham, and cousin ol the bridegroom, were the bridesmaids. Mr Johnston acted as best man, and Mr H. Lawrence as groomsman. / The bridegroom's present to the bride waß a wrietlet watch, and to each of the bridesmaids he gave a gold brooch set with pearls. Alter the wedding breakfast the young couple left by the Wellington expres?.
The presents were numer-us, being both handsome and useful.
