PAPAKURA.

At an Occasioual Court, held before Mr D McLennan, J.P., on Saturday, a railway navvy, named Jas Owens, was convicted and discharged for having been drunk but on a vagrancy charge of being an idle and disorderly person he was sentenced to one month's hard labour. A " first offender," also a railway worker, for having dipped too deeply in the flowing bowl was at the same Court mulcted in a fine of ss.
