ARARIMU.
Official intimation was received on Wednesday last that Rifleman John Henry Dinan, only son of Mr J. Dinan, of Ararimu, had died of wounds in France on November 14th. He was attached to the Rifle Brigade, and left Now Zealand in October of last year. He was for a long time in Egypt, being there at the time of the Senussi engagement last Christmas Day, but did not get into action. He had been fighting in France for the last four or five months. Rifleman Dinan was 24 years of age, and was a splendid speciman of manhood. He was one of the first local "boys" to enlist.
