Mr J. Jones, Auctioneer, Victoria and Lome Streets, Auckland, re* ports sales as follows : The potato market is firm and for No. 1 grade of new potatoes good prices were obtained. Poultry came forward in good supply and the market is a shade lower. Pigß are in strong demand. Poultry—Hens : Prime, 3s 6d to 4s 6d ; good, 3s to 3s 4d ; poor, 2s 3d to 2s lOd ; roosters, prime, 4s 9d to 5s 6d ; small, 2s to 2s 9d ; ducks. 2s 6d to 4s 3d ; geese, 6s ; turkey gobblers, 9s to 14s 6d : hens, 4s to 6s ; chickens, 6d to Is ; ducklings, 18 3d to 2s. Pigs, 18s 6d to £14(5 6d. x Dairy Produce—Butter, Is 2d to Is 3d; eggs, Is 2d to Is 3id; cheese, 9d to lOd ; hams, lOd to Hid ; side, lid to llid; honey, 4d.
