WAIPIPI.

The dairying season is so far shaping well, feed on most farms being plentiful. The jield of cream is much larger than last season, herds being generally in larger numbers than in previous years. Increased milking seems to have taken the place of oat and other grain crops this season the area laid down in crops being smaller than usual. Early sown potatoes did not fare well owing to blight and onion crops are also on the light side, as the result of blight. Land is being prepared for early autumn feed, and winter swede and turnip crops. On Sunday next a Memorial Service is to be held in the St. Mark's Church, Waipipi, in honour of fallen soldiers.
