Lockwood—Stembrldge. Considerable interest was centred in the wedding ceremony that took place in the Pukekohe Presbyterian Church last Wednesday, when the contracting parties were Mr Thomas Herbert Lockwood, second son of Mr Thos Jas. S Nixon officiated The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty frock of cream crepe-de-chene with silk overdress, surmounted by the customary veil trimmed with orange blossom.", and she carried a choice shower bouquet of white roses and asparagus fern. The bridesmaids, Miss Grace May Stembridge (sister of the bride) and Miss Myrtle Gisby, of Auckland, were both dressed in cream crystalline with pale pink hats, their shower bouquets being mide up of pink carnations and asparagus and maidenhair fern. Mr Kredk. Lockwood (brother of the bridegroom) and Mr Wm. Lever, of Papakura, 1 were best-man and groomsman respectively. As the bridal party left the church the Wedding March was played on the organ by Mrs Koenig, of Auckland. Subsequent to the ceremony a large party of relatives and friends were the guests of Mr and Mrs Stembridge at the wedding breakfast served in the Masonic Hall and later on the newly-married couple left for Auckland en route for Rotorua. The wedding presents were numerous and valuable. The bridegioom's gifts to the bridesmaids were gold brooches set with sprays of rubies and pearls.
