BULL SALE.
The N.Z. Loan and MA. Co. report as follows: On Saturday, at Pukekohe, we held a special bull sale, when more than the advertised numbers came forward. Buyers were in large attendance, consequently competition was keen, and prices considerably higher than late sales, practically everything being sold. Best yearling to 18-months Shorthorns. 16gns to 22gns; good ditto, lOgns to l.jgns; others, 6gns to 9.Vgns; Holstein bulls, yearling to 2yrs, Bgns to l-sgns; young purebred Jersey bulls, lOgns to 19gns; Ayrshire bulls, Bgns to 13gns; heavy aged bulls, llgnsto Some of the averages were: Four Shorthorn bulls, from Mr J. R. McElwain, Waiuku, I7gns; 13 ditto, from Mr K. Orr, Pukekawa, llgns, and 9 ditto, from Messrs Sampson and Son, Waerenga, 14 l-3gns.
