Waikato River Works.

[TO THE EDITOR.] Sir,—l notice an article copied from "The Herald" in your issue of the 26th inst. Ibis will be Taken by many of vour readers as a reply by me to Mr Ashley Hunter's report published in your previous issue. The article was published last week and has nothing to do with any report against the River Board. It was only a periodical statement as to how the works are progressing, and the results obtaiced, for the benefit of those who are not posted as to the work being dene by the Board which 1 represent. The report referred to has not been considered by my Board, but will be brought up at our meeting on Sa:urday, when 1 have no doubt the members of the Waikato River Board will express their opinions for publication.—l am, etc,

ARTHUR G. C. GLASS. Lady's Mile, Eliershe, 27th Sept., 1910.
