Though the lull of l'ot' hnieff ranks amongst the most famous in Russia--the land of great church liclls—on account of its historical associations, yet in point of siao it cannot compare with the great hell at .Moscow, the '"Czar Kolokol," -which weigs no less than 300 tons, and was cast in 1603. Nearly -f hundred years later a great fire caused it to fall.
