Certificates Still Procurable. Ix order that extended opportunity should be afforded the man or woman of limited means to bear his or her share of the Government's war loan of £8,000,000, the sale of loan certificates will continue for some little time yet. The certificates, it may be again pointed out, are to bo issued for any sum ranging from 16s upwards apd will carry 4 J per cent compound interest for the term of five years. Thus for payment at any money order office of 16s a certificate to the value of £l, payable five years hence, will be handed over, or, for instance, £8 paid now for certificates will be repayable as £lO at the end of five years. All cannot take an active part in the war, but it is the duty of all to to help to provide the necessary linance to carry on the conflict, to which end the purchase of at least one certificate will be of some avail.
