A MILITARY WEDDING.

Thomas—Wilson. A wedding in wbicb considerable interest wis taken was. celebrated at St. James' Presbyteiian Church, Pukekohe, on tbe 14tb rail., when Miss Elsie May Wilson, daughter of Mr David Wilson, of tbe Waikato, was united m the bonda ot matrimony to Private J. Thomas, a member ot tbe 4th Company of tbe 17tb Keintorcements, and son of Mr Ueorge Thomas, North Wales, England. The bride, who was cbarminiily attired in a tailored khaki costame with pretty White felt bat trimmed witb ospreys, was given away by her ancle, Mr Will Adams. The officiating minuter was the Kev. S. Nixon, and Miss Penman officiated at the organ. Miss Kathleen Wilson attended her liiter as bridesmaid, and wore a tailored cream serge costame. witb a nattier blue felt hat. Beautiful bouquets, the gift ot Mrs 1). Koulston, were carried by •he bride and bridesmaid. Private t\ P. Howe, a member of the same Company and Reinforcements as the bridegroom, acted aa best maa. A dainty afternoon tea was served in the Carnival Tea Knoms, wbicb were most artistically decorated for the occasion, a handsome wedding cake being presented to the bride and bridegroom by Mra Tomlin. The young couple left by f tbe afternoon express lor Auckland.
