PUNI.

Through the energetic and unselfish spirit of Mr Bob Fulton, Puni is now in a fair road to be in possession of a hall. Mr Fulton, intent on helping, purchased the Puni creamery for a very low figure, and as the building has only been erected about two years, it is in a state of good repair. He now intends to offer the building to the residents for a hall. A canvass of the district has been made to see what funds can bo raised and has met with a ready response - It is proposed to raise the amount required by £1 debentures, and not voluntary donations. The continued wei weather is greatly hindering farming work generally. Such early potatoes as have made their appearance are, however, looking exceedingly well in spite of the rough nature of the elements.
