MILLION DOLLAR MYSTERY

Premier Hall Saturday The first episode of Thanhouser's great and fascinating serial story " The Million Dollar Mystery " will be screened in Pukekohe on Saturday night next. The film is nine miles in length and is divided into twenty-thee parts, ono of which will be shown on every Saturday. Each episode is a complete incident of romance and adventure. It is one of the most spectacular creations ever filmed, growing more excited as it proceeds. Episode one is entitled " The Airship in the Night." There will be a strong supporting programme every Saturday.

One of the oldest buildings in TukeKohe disappeared last week when the wooden structure that formed the north-eastern end oj Messra F. Perkins and Co. 's grocery establishment, at the junction of ~ King and Queen streets, was demolished to make way for more modern premises to be built 91 brick. The building referred Up.. was built in 1875 by ths then owner, Mr Forbes, as a store and throughout its forty years' existence it has continued as such under different proprietor?, one of whem was Mr K McCowen, now tt Bombay. When taken down the timber, which was heart of kauri, was tound to be in a thoroughly sound condition despite its many years of use.
