THE GREAT NECKELSON.
At Pukekohe, July Bth. Mr L. J. Du Flou-Mestdagh, organising Secretary of the French Red Cross, the Russian Interned Prisoners Fund, eic, is introducing a Parisian Professor of occult and Allied sciences probably the greatest researcher after truth who has ever come this side of the line. He was presented by President Lalande, of the Paris Academy, with a special medal showing the appreciation of this august body and proving that Neckelson is the exception to the rule " that no man is a prophet in his own country." He has had a triumphal tour through France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, India, the Dutch Indies and Australia and will show his amazing powers at the Premier Hall, Pukekohe, on Saturday of next week, July Bth. He is a particular clean and refined entertainer. We cannot give particulars in the short space at our disposal, but let it be said that there is no vulgarity, clumsiness nor poor jokey business in what he shows. Neckelson is a " French gentleman " and a Master of the Mind and of Will power. He performs extraordinary feats of magic with a sk'll that bailies description.
He also introduces a very fine soprano in the person of Madame Cantilloon. She is the possessor of a " pure timbre " with a good range, and her technique and execution are those of an accomplished singer. M. Caprini, a line baritone is heard to advantage and his duets with Madame, command more than ordinary attention. The whole entertaiumeut is charming, delightful and ranks amongst the best yet seen.
The prices of admission are 3s and 2s and seats may be reserved at the Bookery. As a large "house" is anticipated early booking is advisable.
