GERMAN ARRESTED AT MAUKU.

Posed as a Norwegian. A man passing under the name of Herbert Manson and who had claimed to be a Norweigan by birth was arrested under war regulation" by Sergeant Cowan and Constable Thornell, of i'ukekohe, on Sunday at his home at Mauku. A resident ot Mauku for some little time past "Manson" has of late been employed on the Franklin County Council s stone-crushing plant. He, however, has been proved by the police to be a German, whose real name is Bernard Lohkamp. He is 27 years of age. He was brought into Pukekohe and was yesterday conveyed to Devonport, whera he was interned by the military authorities.
