Mr J. Wright Wins Abbott Cud. The much coveted Cup, presented to the Pukekohe Kod and Gun Club by Mr W G Abhott, has after lour jears' competition now been won outright, its proud possessor being Mr J Wright. The conditions attached to the trophy were that it should be shot lor three times in esch Becam until definitely won by two victories in succession or three successes in all, with a two yards' handicap tor esch success, Having topped the ecores when the Cup was last competed for last season and again heading the list last Saturday Mr Wright, as already stated, now owns the trophy. Mr Wright is one uf the original members of the Cub, afid has always proved himself a consistent shot, with the result that his victory is highly popular with his Club colleagues.
