Franklin Hockey Association. The annual meeting of representatives of the Franklin Hockey Association was held in Pukekohe on Thursday, the 11th inst. Mauku, at Pukekohe SiiCOND KUUND June 17th—Puoi v. I'ukekohe, at Puni; Suburbs v. Mauku, at Suburbs June 24th—Pukekohe v. Suburbs, at Pukekohe; Mauku v, Puni, at Patumahoe •July Ist- Puni v. Suburbs, at funi; Mauku v. Pukekohe, at Patumahoe Tbe opening of the hockey season in the Franklin County was celebrated un Saturday in fine weather. Friendly games were played at Patumahoe between teams representing the Puni and Mauku Clubs and at Puktkohe between the Suburbs ard Pukekohe. In tbe former match Puni had rather an easy win by nine goals to one, fcored by E Pollock 4, E Lucas 3, D Maloney and J Pollock one each and for the losers by C Fulton. Tbe match at Pukekohe was won by Suburbs by four goals to two. Mr H Hoberta relereed at Patuirahoa and Mr T Skinner at Pukekohe
