TE KAUWHATA.

The commodious iron building erected to the oider of Messrs Puibam and Begbie, at Te Kauwhata, has accommodation for sixteen horses and 50 tons ot teed, the latter being protected from ra!s by a specially co:structed loft. Concrete floors have been laid in the stable and at the back, the latter for hosing horses and vehicles on. Water for cleansing the stables, etc., is now provided ty two 400-gallon tanks, which are to be augmentsd by the erection of another two ot the same capacity. A lean-to attached to the building is used for the accommodation ot trans, etc, The very latest drainage is installed, so the building is completely sanitary
