ST. ANDREW'S CHURCH, PUKEKOHE.

Parishioners' Meeting. Ihe annual meeting of the parishioners of St. Andrew's Church was held in the Oddfellows' Hall on Wednesday ovening of last week, the Yicar Rev. J. P, Cowie presiding.

Proceedings begau with a programme of musical items contributed to by the Misses Ivy Brown, Ivy Duncan, Orace and Muriel Lysnar, Scaulen aud Millicont Taylor, and Messrs Fred Duncan and Luke Wilson.

The Vicar, in his address, romarkcii that it was the hrst occasion on which ho had presided at a parish meeting at the district and ho thanked all for the welcome given him since his advent to Pukekoho. The thanks of the parishioners, ho said, were duo to the Lay Readers, Messrs J. B. Brown and H. G. R. Masun, for assistance given towards the maintenance of regular services, and also to the choir and the voluntary organists, the Misses Millicent Taylor, Ivy Brown and Ivy Duncan, and Mr Luke wilson. The Sunday School had been carried on by a devoted band of teachers, and the money that would have been expended in purchasing pii/es had been cheerfully voted by the childion to one of the relief funds. In conclusion, lie stated that one of the most pleasing features of the work in the district was tho very considerable amount of voluntary assistance given. The balance sheet was then read and adopted. The Vicar nominated Mr li. Bilkey to again act as Vicar's Warden and Mr A F. Brown was unanimously re-elected Peoples' Warden. Tho following were appointed as members of tho Vestry, viz : Messrs W. 11. Fausett, 0. Haslam, H.J. Rollinson. J. Russell and IV. A, Willis.

Mr 11. Boekett was appointed auditor.

A discussion followed i'. regard to the best meausof reducing liabilities and meeting current expenses and tho Vestry was requited to adopt the envelope system. At the close of the meeting refreshments, provided by the la lies'
