SUPPLYING LIQUOR TO MAORIS. Ernest Rogers was charged that at Tuakau ou the 25th March ho supplied Benjamin Pairama with a bottle of Schnapps for consumption oil' licensed premises. Accusod pleaded guilty but stated that he gave the.bottlo to Pairama because he told him that he was going to give it to another Maori who in turn was to hand it on to a sick woman. A fine of £ o and costs 7s was inflicted.

Benjamin Pairama was then charged with aiding and abetting Rogers. He pleaded guilty and Sergeant Cowan stated that it was tho result of Pirama's representations that Rogors obtained tho bottlq.
