WAERENGA.
The " Te Aroha News " says: "Au indication of the growing popularity of the Matamata show is evident from the fact that at Wednesday's exhibition beasts were forwarded from as far away as Waerenga, between Mercer and Huntly. These Shorthorns were owned by Mr D. K. Martin and despite the long stay in the trucks were successful prizewinners." It may also be stated that at the Cambridge show early m the month Mr Martin gained two first prizes and his number of awards for the two shows totalled ten.
