The sale under the Eating Act by Mes'is Richard Arthur & Co. at their rooms in Auckland yesterday of building sections situated at Papakura again demonstrated that local property ia much in demand, all the lots finding purchasers. Lots 11, 42, and 4:5 of Section '2, comprising la. 8p , sold for £ll4 and the other prices realised were Lits 4 of Sec. 11, Ir. Op , £55 10s; Lot 5 of Sec. 11, Ir. Op., £6l ; Lot 57 of Sec. 11, Ir. Op., £OO. We understand that the Rev. W. C. Wood, Yicar o£ Papakura, has received an appointment to serve as Chaplain Major with the Forces and vyill lie leaving the Dominion two or three months hence. The Papakura Town Hoard notify by advt. in this issue that Mr J. A. Clark has been appointed ranger for fl, a TWl'a district.
