OTAU.

That portion of the Otau Road, adjoining Settlement road, which has been a source of annoyance to the settlers is to bo ploughed and scooped and metal placed in tho filling. Tho water tables in the vicinity are also to be cleaned out. It is the intention of the Road Board to use the Board's team on the work. If possible the metal will be taken from Mr Hyde's property. The spot becomes very greasy in the wot weather and accordingly dangerous. It is anticipated that the suggested improvements will thoroughly rectify the affected portion.
