CLERGYMAN'S RESIGNATION WITHDRAWN At the meeting of the Auckland Presbytery, held on Tuesday, the Rev J D C Madill handed in his resignation from the charge of Papakura and Drury, on the ground of ill-health. It was stated that the congregation had passed a resolution urging the minister cot „to resign, ana offering him thtee months' leave ot absence. Alter some discussion Mr Madill withdrew his resignatom, and the Presbytery granted him three months' leave, cr longer it it were necessary to the restjiation of his health. Rev E C Porter was appointed interim moderator of the charge
