BUCKLAND.
LADY LIVERPOOL LEAGUE The members ot the Buckland branch of the Lady Liverpool League met in the Buckland Hall for their monthly meeting on the 13th mat. In the absence ot the piesident, Mrs Wily, Mrs Davy occupied the chair. Tha following articles were received:— Miss Driver, 8 pairs socks; Mies Johnstone. 3 pairs socks; Mrs Avery, and Mrs Perrin, 2 pairb socks each Mis Hewitt, one pair socks; Mrs Perrin, 2 pairs cocks donated; Mm McKean, ore body belt; Miss Johnston, 3 body belts; Mis A Hewitt, one head wool
It was reported that during the month of December a pared of knitted comforts hid been handed to each of the following:—Privates James Walker, Joshua Morgan and H., J.S., and J Wilcox, and Rifleman Herbert Leighton
The following are the cash donations received, viz:—Mesdames N Jamiesun, Tetly and J Hamilton, 10a each; Mesdames 0 Hill and T Walker, 8s each; Mesdames McAnally, E Neal and A Hewitt, 7s 6d each; Mesdames J Wylie and J Barber, 4s each; Mrs E Allan, 3a; Mesdames E Carter and Murray, 2s 6d each; Mr Sharp, 2s 6d, Mesdames Yule, W Walker, A Milroy, J Smith, Whitroore, A P Home, Cummer, W Jackson, Souster, and Mr P Hall, 2s each; Mr C ¥ Hansen, Is; Mrs Topbam, 7s M; Mrs Davy, 6s; Mrs Piggott, 4s 6d; Mrs Fellows, Mis Spragg, 2s 6d each; Mis Harper and Mrs Wolfe, 2s each
