PUKEKOHE DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL.
Facilities Fop Education. The committee of the Fukekohe District High School are circularising parents aa to the advantages to be pained from a course of education at the Secondary Department of that School, and they suggest that the sama should receivs consideration before children, who have qualified for free places in the High School, are sent elsewhere. They point out that the science room at the school is lully furnished and equipped for individual practical work by pupils, and that it is equal, if not superior, to any similar room in High Schools in New Zealand, and further that arrangements have been made for weekly visits from one of the Agricultural Instructors of the Board, who will teach and control the science subjects, thus enabling the resident teacher to oeffote more time to the other subjects in the course. It is also mentioned that with proper support the attenda ce will exceed 30 and entitle tte school to an extra resident teacher. In con ~ elusion the facilities of railway arrangements to and from I'ukekohe are compared with the prolonged journey to and from Auckland
