PUKEKOHE BOROUGH LOAN PROPOSALS. No. I Proposal—Waterworks Loan. THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1913. The Pukekohe Borougli Council hereby gives public notice of its intention to raise a loan pursuant to the abov j -mentioned Act and its amendments. (11 The loan is required for the purpose of extending and improving the Borough waterworks aid in particular for constructing a now reservoir and purchasing the necessary land therefor, partitioning the present reservoir, sectionising the present water reticulation by means of valves, installing additional fire plugs, installing an indicator for each reservoir, purchasing a residence for the pumping engineer, extending the reticulation, providing a new main from pump to reservoir, installing a gas genorator, boring for water and all engineering, clerical and other expenses incidental to the carrying out of such work. (2) The sum proposed to be borrowed is £6,300. (3) The proposed security for the loan is a special rate of one-third of a penny in the Pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Pukekohe and being an annual recurring rate for a period of ten years or until such time as the loan shall be repaid. The whole loan is to be repayable within a period of teu years from the raising of the loan.
