PUKEKOHE BOROUGH LOAN PROPOSALS. No. I Proposal—Waterworks Loan. T3E LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1913. The Pukekoke Borough Council hereby gives public notice of its intention to raise a loan pursuant to the aboro-mentioned Act and its amendments. (1) The loan is required for the purpose of extending and improving the Borough waterworks and in particular for constructing a new reservoir and purchasing the nccfssary land theiefor, paititioning the present reservoir, sectionisiDg the present water reticulation by means *>f valves, installing additional fire plugs, installing an indicator for each reservoir, purchasing a residence for the pumping engineer, extending the reticulation, providing a new main from pump to reservoir, installing a gas generator, boring for water and all engineering, clerical and other expenses incidental to the carrying out of such work. (2) The sum proposed to be borrowed is £6,300. (3) The proposed security for the loan is a special rate of one-third of a penny in the Pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property wichin the Borough of Pukekohe and being an aunual recurring rate for a period of ten years or until such time as the loan shall be repaid. The whole loan is to be repayable within a period of ten years from the raising of
the loan. (4) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking tund for the first vear. J. F. DEANE, Town Clerk. No. 2 Proposal—Fire Brigade Loan. THE LOUAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1913. The Pukekohe Borough Council hereby gives public notice of its intention to raise a loan pursuant to the above mentioned Act and its amendments.
(1) The loan is required for the purpose of building fire brigade station, erecting iirebells and supplying tiro fighting equipment. (2) The sum proposed to be borrowed is £3OO. (3) The proposed security for the loan is a special rate oi one-fortieth of a penny in the Pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Town District Special rating Area and being an annual recurring rate for a period of ten years or until such time as the loan shall be repaid. The whole loan is to be repayable within a period of 10 years from the raising of the loan. (4) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund for the first year. J. F. DEANE, Town Clerk. No. 3 Proposal Drainage Loan. THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT 1913. The Pukekohe Borough Council hereby gives public notice of its intention to raise a loan pursuant to the above-mentioned Act and its amendments.
The loan is required for the purpose of the installation of a drainage system for the drainage of the buildings comprised in the Drainage Special-rating area, and all engineering, clerical and other expenses incidental to the carrying out of such
work. (2) The sum proposed to be borrowed is £3,500. (3) The proposed security for the loan is a special rate of one - half of a penny in the Pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the above Drainage Special-rating Area in the Borough of Pukekohe and being an annual recurring rate for a period of thirty-six and a halt years or until such time as the loan shall be repaid. The whole loan is to be repayable within a period of thirtysix years and a half from the raising of the loan in accordance with the appropriate table of The State Advances Office. (4) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund for the first year. J. f. DEANE, Town Clerk.
No. 4 Proposal Drainage Loan. THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1913 The Pukekohe Borough Council hereby gives public notice of i f s intention to raise a loan pursuant to the above-mentioned Act and its amendments. (1) The loan is required for the purpose of constructing a septic tank, filter bed and part of a main sewer (being portion of a drainage system) in the Borough of Pukokohe, including the acquisition of any land necessary for the purposes aforesaid and the payment of all engineering, clerical and other expenses incidental to the carrying out of such work. (2) The sum proposed to be borrowed is £1,500. (3) The proposod security for the loan is a special rate, of one-fourteenth of a penny in the Pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property _ within the Borough of Pukekohe and being an annual recurring rate for a period of thirty-six and a-half years or until such time as the loan shall be repaid.
