STOCK SALE REPORTS.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, report as foiows:—
On Monday at Fukukah?, horses were yarded in average numbers and competition was much keener than at late sales. Heavy draughts made £26 13s to £3B, medium £l9 tp £3l 109, light harness horses £lO to £lB 10s, backs £9 to £2l 10a, ponjsis £5 10? to £l3, weeds 10s to £4. At Westfie}d tat stock market on Wednesday beef was penned in less numbers [.than usual, the quality not being up to the previous week. Oxen cold to £2 4s per 1001b, cows and heifers £1 18s 6d to £2 2s (id, ateers Bold at trom £l2 5s to £l6 17s 6d, cows and heifers £5 10s to £l2 17s 6d. Sheep were penned in less numbers tban usual, and showed no improvement in prices. Best wethers sold at trom £1 4s 9d to £! 6j 9d, others £1 1b to £1 4i 3d, ewe* 18s 6d to. £1 3s 6J, hoggets 18s 9d to £1 3s. Lambs, yarded in extra larje numbers, sold well. First quality sold at from 17s 6d to £1 2s, others 12s 6d to 17s 3d. Calves were penned in large numbers, and sold at much lower rates. Kunners made £4 17s 6d to £9 17s 6d, heavy suckers £2 5s to £3 4s, medium £1 14s to £2 2s, light 16s to £1 8f», small and fresh-dropped, 2s to 12s. Figs were penned in average numbers, and these alsj Bold at lower rates, Uaconers made £2 16s t) £4 2s, heavy porkers £2 8s to £3 7*, medium £1 19j to £2 6fl, light £1 9s to £1 18s, weaners 10a to 19s, slips £1 Is to £1 6b.
