WEDDING BELLS.
Brown—Hart. A wedding of considerable local interest was celebrated at St Andrew's Church, Pukekohe, on the Bth inst, the contracting potties being Mr Charles Harold ("Monty") Brown, son of the late Mr George Brown, J.P., of 'luakau and of Mrs Brown, of Harris Street, Pukekohe, and Misa Evelyn May Hart, daughter of Mr and Mrs J J Hait. The Kev F B Dobson officiated. The bride, who was given away bv her father, was charmingly attired in creme silk with an overdress of rich creme shadow lace, and ahe also wore the customary veil of orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Miss Jessie Brown, Misa Hazel Reynolds and Miss Gladys Reynold;, the lastnamed being the bride's little niece, who wsb daintily dressed in white silk to represent a flower girl. The two first-named ladies wore prettv frocks of white silk, with hat to match, and all carried handsome bouquetp, the gifts of an old friend of the bridegroom. Mr Len Brown, brother of the bridegroom, was beat mar, and Mr Bertie Hart, brother of the bride, was groomsman. The altar in the Church was testefully decorated for the occasion, and as the bridal party left tne sacred edifice the Wedding March was played on the organ by Miss Jvy Brown, a niece of the bridegroom. On ihe conclusion of the ceremony the guests ptoceeded to the residence of the bride's parents, nhsre a sumptuous wedding breakfast was partaken of, and it was an interesting feature of the gathering that the company included tour generations of the bride's family. The happy couple left later for their future borne at Papakvjra. |he wedding presents were both choina and numeruua.
