Another attempt to bring off the Tuakau Carnival Sports is to be made on Saturday next, when the postponed gathering will, weather permitting, be held in the Sale Yard's paddock. All the amusements previously provided will be in evidence and it is hoped that hearty co-operation on the part of the public will be accorded in order to counteract the loss that was incurred by the enforced abandonment, owing to stress of weather, of the earlier fixture.
A patriotic concert to be given by Auckland visitors has been arranged for Thursday evening next in the Tuakau Hall, to be followed by a dance.
