Sacred Concert. A Sacred Concert, organised by the Pukekohe Carnival Committee, was hell in the Premier Hall on Sunday afternoon last. There was an excellent attetidane s , and a collection for the Wiund<d Soldiers' Fund realised the sum of £9 13s 9d. The Pukekohe Town Band came forward, as usual, and gave every assistance, playing selections outside the hall prior to the commencement of the concert, and also by rendering selections later on. the ot the Mayor, Mr ti. The accompanists were Miss Towns an and Miss Penman. Mr Barter returned thanks on behalf ot the Ladies' Committee for the splendid rspoase made, both in attendance and to the collection.
