CLEVEDON A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

At the meeting of the Executive committee of the Clevedon A. and P. Association, held at Clevedon last Saturday, a letter was received from tbe Sport's Queen Carnival Committee requesting the Clevedon Show Committee to postpone their show, fixed for November . 13th, id favour of the Queen Carnival. It was unanimously decided that the following resolution should be forwarded to the Sports Queen Carnival Committee, viz., "That the Executive Committee of the Clevedon A. and P. Association have exercised a considerable amount of care in fixing their show date, so as not to clash with any other fixture and cannot now see its wayjto make any alteration, and would respectfully suggest to the Carnival Committee the advisability of selecting another date for the Queen Carnival, as the show is also being run in favour of tbe Carnival for Wounded Soldiers." Large numbers of entries have been received in all classes for the show, and the ladies of Clevedon are taking great* interest in c-n« ducting the luncheon and iu...somen t booths; the profits from whicb will go to the Queen of tbe South No. 5 Carnival Fund.
