POLLOK.

Misa V. Given, of "Ulenburn House" Follok, has just returned from a visit paid to Mr and Mrs Given of "New jrove" Kuapuke. Miss Given, who was making her first acquaintance with the district, describe Kuapuke as being a most dimming place at which to spend a hoilday. During her stay Miss Given, in company with her cousins, Messrs C. and H. Given, visited The Gorge, which is 500 feet high, a charming beauty spot on the West Coast, also the Bridal Veil Falls.
