'ire Papakura Cricket Club played its tint inter-club match of the season on Saturday las', at Fapakura, being defeated by tbe Kemuera team. I'apskura bat'ed first and were dismissed for tbe rmall t< tul of 63, to which the largest qu ta was added ty H. Bennett (15). Of Remuera's totil of 100, Robinson 33, Stanley 22, and Uavenstock 20, were the chief ■corera.
At the 'annual meeting of the Cricket Club held recently, Ihe officers of the previous year were re-elected. The balance iheet showed a credit balance of 14s 4d, but it was explained that the committeemen bad each donated 14s 6d to help pay off a debit of £5. A concert held by tbe club during tli* season had yielded £ll 14s to the local Wounded Soldiers' Fund. A trophy for the most catches of the r season waa offered by Mr Waugh. and the subscription was fixed at 7s 6d fcr seniors and 2s 6d for juniors.
