Dairy Companies' Directors and their Honorariums.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— Looking throigh the balance sheets of the N.Z. Dairy Association and the Waikato Co-op. Dairy Co. I notice the following items: New Zealand Dairy Association, six diiectors. Item —Directors honorarium and expenses £2BB 2s 2d., or JE4B Os 4 \d each director. Waikato "Oo op. Dairy Co., eight directors. Item —Directors fees and expenses £56 16s Bd, or £7 2s Id each director. The abovo are exclusive of the managing dinctor in either case. I now understand the difference between a "honorarium" and a "fee"—th*t is, a honorarium is £4B Os 4 \d, and a fee is £7 2s Id. Mo comment. I am, etc., J. W. McLAREN, sen., Kainui Estate.
