PUKEKOHE EAST.
The dance given by the Hall Committee on Thursday last, tu aid of the Hall Funds, was well patronise, the fund benefitting by the turn of £3. The Hour was occupied by upward 9 of 25 couples, Messrs C. Lauer and G. Keane acting as M.C.'p. The music was supplied by Mrs D. Keane. Thanks to genial rains the grass has come in with a great rush during the paßt week, and the cows, most of which are now in profit, are doing exceptionally well. A record output of cream for the district is anticipated.
