THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

A commission of Presbytery composed of Revs. R. Inglis, M A ; R. L. Walker, M.A. and Bradstreet, visited Pukekohe on Tuesday in connection with the proposed division of the Pukekohe charge. A meeting was held in St. James' Church at 2 p.m, aod despite the inauspicious weather a fair congregation assembled. The Commission laid upon the table a proposal to divide the charge into a sanctioned charge and two Home Mission stations. After a comprehensive discussion it was decided to ask the Commission to recommend to the Presbytery that the Pukekohe Charge should consist of Pukekohe, Bombay, Pukekohe East and Buckland, and that the other districts bo formed into a Home Mission station. The whole matter will come up befoie the next Presbytery which will bo held on October 12th.
