BOMBAY.
Fur scveial months past the residents of Bombay, especially the ladies, have been working most k energetically with a view to raising a tubstan'ial local contribution to the Auckland Provincial Patriotic Fund. With tbis end in view, a strone fewing guild, with Miss Cole-Baker as president and Misß Mas. field aH secretary, has heen busily preparing for a bazaar to be held in the Bombay Hall on November 24th and 25th. As the work promises to be heavy the Ladies' Guild has accepted the assistanc of the Bombay Patriotic Committee. Recently the two committees met anl decided to form themselves into a joint committee with Messrs R. Cnrbrtt as chairman and A. Beft us recretcry to organise und cortrol the bazaar.
